2 Internet- und Blogpause /Internet- and Blogbreak

 Und kaum ist das neue Design da, verabschiede ich mich auch schon in eine Internetpause, die für den Blog natürlich auch Pause bedeutet. Ja, warum eigentlich? Auf dem Blog läuft ja alles so glatt, oder nicht? Schon, aber momentan merke ich, wie ich mein ganzes restliches Leben ruiniere, weil ich es nicht kontrollieren kann, wenn ich mal "nur" einen Post schreiben und mich über andere Blogs auf dem laufenden halten möchte. Wenn ich weit weg von meinem Laptop bin, schreibe ich momentan wie wild mehrere Seiten in meinem Notizbuch voll, aber zu Hause werde ich vom Internet immer so schnell abgelenkt, dass ich irgendwann einen Knacks hatte und beschlossen habe, eine Blogpause zu machen. Zuerst war sie auf Dezember angesetzt. So viel Zeit kann ich mir ja lassen, dachte ich mir, aber dann ist mir in den letzten Wochen irgendwie der Spaß an der ganzen Sache ein bisschen verdorben, das Rezensionexemplar von Cupido Books hat mir so ein bisschen den Rest gegeben, weil ich gemerkt habe, dass ich teilweise auch ziemlichen Mist in letzter Zeit bringe, der nicht sein muss. Das heißt nicht, dass ich mich ganz aus meinem Blog raushalte. Meine E-Mails werde ich noch überprüfen und Freitags werde ich auch noch da sein, aber ich weiß eines, nämlich, dass Word auf meinem PC seit ich blogge sehr viel weniger genutzt wird und bei der Geschichte, an der ich gerade schreibe bewegt sich einfach gar nichts. Das ist irgendwie doof, weil ich ja meinen Blog wegen den Geschichten angefangen habe. Also mache ich jetzt erstmal eine Pause und danach sehe ich mal, wie es mit dem Blog weitergeht. Haltet bis dahin einfach die Ohren steif ;)

And just when the new design is there, I already say goodbye for an Internet free time, that also means a break for the blog. Yes, but why actually? On the blog everything's running smoothly, isn't it? Yes, but sometimes I realize, that I ruin the rest of my life, because I can't control it, when I actually only want to write a post and look up some other blogs. When I'm far away from my laptop, at the moment I'm writing like I'm crazy several pages full of words, but at home I'm so quickly distracted by the internet, that in  some moment I had a crack inside and decided, to have a break from blogging. At first I want to do that in december. I can let myself time for it, I thought, but then in the last weeks somehow the fun at the whole thing went, the reviewers copy of Cupido Books put me over the edge, because I realized, that I'm bringing a lot of shit that doesn't have to be. This doesn't means, that I'll stay away completely from my blog. I'll still check my E-Mails and I'll be there on friday, but I know one thing and that is, that Word isn't used much since I blog and in the story I'm writing at the moment there's nothing going on. That's a bit stupid because I started my blog for the stories. So I'll have a break and then I'll see how to go on with the blog. So, until then, keep up your chins ;)

3 Kleine Umfrage zum neuen Design /Small Poll on the new design

Nee jetzt, nicht schon wieder ein neues Design, oder? Ausgerechnet jetzt wo du doch eh eine Blogpause machst? Ja. Gestern überkam es mich irgendwie, als ich eigentlich nur die Navigation über den Header verschieben wollte und dann damit anfing, sie fix zu positionieren und begann spontan, alle die Dinge zu ändern, die ich sowieso schon seit Wochen mal ändern wollte. Bis jetzt habe ich mich noch zurückgehalten, was Änderungen angeht, weil ich sehr viel CSS für so manche unwichtigen Details habe und eine klitzekleine Änderung ein ziemlich Designkiller sein kann, wenn ich nicht so aufpasse. Das ist gestern genau genommen auch passiert, als ich angefangen habe, herumzuexperimentieren und schwupps merkte, was ich alles so ändern müsste, damit alles wieder stimmig ist. Wie auch immer, was haltet ihr von dem Design? Nehmt meine Vorschläge oder habt eigene kreative Ideen:

a) Mannomann, was das hier denn? Minzgrün? Hier sieht's ja aus wie in der Zahnarztpraxis!
b) ich vermisse das alte Design
c) Rosarote Regenbögen und glitzernde Einhörner, das wäre doch mal was!
d) Mensch, dezenter geht bei dir nicht?
e) So, und jetzt fang endlich mal mit dem bloggen an, du Faulpelz!
f) Zucker!
g) Määääädchenblog!
h) Sonstige Rückmeldungen. Ich freue mich über Kreativität!

Was auch immer ihr denkt, ich finde auf jeden Fall, dass das neue Design zu mir passt. ;)


What are you sayin' you've got again a new design on your blog? Just before you wanted to have an internet-free time anyway? Yes. Yesterday I had that feeling, when I actually only wanted to move the navigation above the header and then began to position it fixed and began spontanously to change all the things that I wanted to change anyway already for weeks. Until now I really held off with changes, because I've got a lot of CSS for very meaningless small things and a single change can kill the whole design, when I'm not careful. That's what actually happened yestereday, when I began to mess around and suddenly realized what I had to change, so everythings is again coherent. Nevertheless, what do you think about this design? Take my suggestions or have own, creative ideas:

a) Man, what's this? Mint green? It looks like a dentist's practice!
b) I miss the old design
c) pink rainbows and glittering unicorns would be the real thing!
d) you don't get it the inobtrusive way, don't you?
e) So, and now start blogging, you lazy chump!
f) sugar!
g) Giiirlieeeblog!
h) other refernces. I'm glad about creativity!

5 Fünf am Freitag /Friday Five #16

Fünf am Freitag. Mein eigenes Meme :) Vor zwei Wochen gab's Feenbücher, letze Woche was zum Herbst und da jetzt Halloween ist (von den einen akzeptiert oder begeistert aufgenommen, von den anderen abgelehnt) gibt's diese Woche:

Friday Five. My own meme :) Two weeks ago there were fairy books, last week something about autumn and since today is Halloween (in Germany there's this huge discussion, whether you should celebrate it or not) this week we'll have:

Fünf Hexen aus Büchern /Five witches from books

Es zählt alles, was in irgendeiner Weise als Hexe bezeichnet wird, auch wenn in der Fantasywelt in der die Person lebt "Hexe" ein Beleidigung ist und der Autor sich irgendein dämliches Kunstwort ausgedacht hat, weil er aus irgendeinem Grund das Wort "Hexe" nicht mag -das ich persönlich übrigens sehr schön finde.

Everything that is ever referred in anyway as a witch is allowed, even when in the fantasy world the character lives "witch" is an insult and the author made up some silly coinage because for some reason he doesn't like the word "witch" -that I personally by the way like.

1. Auch wenn jetzt gleich alle aufstöhnen, dass ich es mir so einfach mit Punkt eins mache: Hermine Harry Potter. Aber ganz ehrlich: Das muss einfach sein ;) Außerdem kann ich mich sehr gut mit Hermine und Luna Lovegood identifizieren, ich bin sozusagen ein Mashup aus beiden (als reine Feststellung. Ich bin eine durchgeknallte Intellegenzbestie), nur ohne Hexenkräfte :)
/Even though everyone with moan on this one, because I'm having it the simple way with my first point: Hermione from Harry Potter. But honestly: This has to be ;) Also I relate myself very well with Hermione and Luna Lovegood, I'm in a way a mashup of both, just without the witch powers :)

2. Kommen wir zu etwas ausgefallenerem: Bei "Ensel und Krete" von Walter Moers ist die Hexe ein Haus im Wald, dass sich ähnlich einer Fleischfressenden Riesenpflanze (das wäre übrigens eine Kannenpflanze) mit Saft füllt, wenn man so unvorsichtig ist, es zu betreten.
/Let's go on to something fancier: In "Ensel  and Krete" by Walter Moers the witch is a house in the woods, that, similar to a carnivorous plant fills with juice, when you're so careless to enter it.

3. Noch ein Hexenhaus gefällig? Bei "Reckless" von Cornelia Funke kommen mehrere Hexen vor und gleich am anfang gibt es eine Stelle, in der sie Zuflucht in einem verlassenen Hexenhaus einer "Kinderfresserin" finden. Also wieder ganz klassische böse Hexen.
/Want another witch cottage? In "Reckess" by Cornelia Funke there are several witches and right at the beginning there's a passage where they seek shelter in an abandoned witch cottage of a "child-eater". So again some very classical bad witches.

4. Hexe Lilli. Oh, komm schon, denkt ihr jetzt vielleicht, ernsthaft? Ja. Hab ich als kleines Mädchen ganz gerne gelesen und auch wenn es keine allrounder sind, die man auch noch lesen kann, wenn man älter wird, wollte ich es trotzdem mal erwähnt haben :)
/Witch Lilli. A German children's book's character that I like to read as a little girl and even though it is no allrounder that you can still read when you're grown-up, I still wanted to mention it :)

5. Die Hexe Gummigutta. Hatte ich ja schon mal bei 52 Bücher erwähnt, eine ganz Liebe, die in einem Haus aus Zuckerwürfeln und sonstigen Süßigkeiten wohnt und die beiden Zwillinge, die dort einziehen, so viel naschen lässt wie sie wollen, weil sie weiß, dass man wenn mal wochenlang im Überfluss Lollis gelutscht und Schokolade gefressen hat, man irgendwann keine Lust mehr drauf hat und anfängt sich normal zu ernähren. Eine deutlich humanere Methode als sie aufzufressen. ;)
/The witch Gummigutta. I've mentioned her at 52 books once, a very cute one, that lives in house of sugar cubes and other sweets and let's the twins that move into her house eat whatever they want, because she knows, that when's you've sucked lollipops and stuffed chocolate in for weeks, you one day won't want them anymore and start living on normal food. A clearly mor humanely method than eating them up. ;)

4 "Schmerzherz" -Vio Carpone

Ich gebe zu, dass ich deshalb zugegriffen habe, weil es meine allererste Rezensionsanfrage war. Es war nicht deshalb, weil es ein Erotikroman (alle die davon nichts wissen sollen wollen, sollten diese Rezension einfach gar nicht lesen) war und auch nicht, weil es ein Indieverlag war, das kam alles bloß mal eben so dazu. Bevor ich dieses Buch gelesen habe, hatte ich auch noch nie von BDSM gehört, denn die ganze Sache mit "Fifty Shades Of Gray" ist vollkommen an mir vorübergegangen (Auf irgendeinem anderen Blog, [Ich]: "Was meinst du eigentlich mit der inneren Göttin?"  [Blogautorin]: "Dann gehörst du wohl zu denen, die sich SoG nicht angetan haben." in meinen Gedanken: Warte, SoG, wofür könnte das jetzt schon wieder stehen ?)

I admit, that I took hold of this book only because it was my first request to review a book. It wasn't because it was a eroticism novel (everone who doesn't want to know about, just don't read this review) and also not because it was and Indie-Publisher, that just came somehow. Before I read this book I've never heard of BDSM before, because the whole thing with "Fifty Shades Of Grey" passed me totally (On some other blog, [Me]: "What do you mean with Inner Godess?" [Blog Author]: "Then you belong to those who haven't read SoG yet" in my thought's: Wait, SoG, what does this again mean?)

Ich gebe hiermit also zu, dass alles an dem Buch Neuland für mich war: Rezensionexemplar (Nie wieder, ich sag's euch) Erotik (In Fantasyromanen gibt es zwar ab und zu mal ein Sexszene z.B. bei Game of Thrones, aber die bilden nicht so sehr den Schwerpunkt der Romane) und von BDSM hatte ich erst recht noch nie gehört (Lest hierzu den Wikipediaartikel, falls es euch wie mir geht) immerhin verstand ich während des Lesens, dass es hier um eine Sado-Maso-Beziehung geht. Und somit habe ich wenig, das ich zum Vergleich ansetzen könnte, außer meinen Erwartungen.

So I admit, that everything about this book was new to me: a reviewers copy (never, never again) eroticism (In Fantasy novels there are sometimes sex scenes, e.g. Game of Thrones, but they do not represent the main matter of the novels) and I had never heard of BDSM (read the article on Wikipedia about it, if you're in the same situation I was) at least I understood while reading, that this is about an S&M relationship. And so I couldn't compare it in any way, except of my exspectations.
