If books were big enough to hug, I would hug this one. There was the wonderful, cute cover (drawn beautiful, I love such covers) the heart-warming story and the charakters who really appeared wonderful, especially Rose and her brother Thymo. Also you get hungry by listening (I had this book as an audio) because there were always delicious recipes descripted. For some children's books I'll never get too old. What a wonderfully sound world (not completely sound, but sounder than reality and what a wonderfully sound family. You get this smile, because it's a children's story that's exciting, although you know in the end everything will be okay and it gets you smiling. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, especially to people who are sooo mature, but to me it was like always thinking "yes!". It was a nice, predictable story, but exactly that was what I liked.
